Requirements
What we're looking for
- University degree: Degree in Social Work.
- Driver's license and own vehicle.
- Communication skills: knowing how to listen, empathize, and interact with residents, family members, and other professionals.
- Social management capacity: prepare social reports, assess the needs of residents, coordinate resources, and support families.
Nice to have
- Experience in geriatric care homes, socio-sanitary centers, or elderly care will be valued, although it is not essential. No minimum experience or specialization in a specific area is required.
The role
Do you want to put your social vocation at the service of the well-being of elderly people? At Ananda, we are looking for someone eager to accompany residents and families in a care home located in a residential area of Corbera de Llobregat.
We are looking for a qualified Social Work professional to join a care home immediately. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will be a key support for residents and families.
What you'll do
- Social care and assessment: evaluate the social, family, and personal needs of residents to promote their well-being and quality of life.
- Support for families: maintain communication with family members, guide them, and facilitate their participation in the care of the residents.
- Coordination with other professionals: collaborate with the care home's multidisciplinary team (medical, nursing, psychology, and assistant staff) to offer comprehensive care.
- Management of social resources and procedures: inform and assist residents and families in applying for aid, social benefits, dependency assistance, and other available resources.
How you'll work
- Immediate start.
- 3-month contract through Ananda, with the possibility of joining the company's permanent staff.
- Part-time employment with a fixed shift, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 h (the company is open to considering other schedules).
