The BAS works in a coordinated manner with the strategies defined by Market Access, Medical, and Marketing, adapting them to the specific needs of their territory, in order to ensure the broadest and fastest access to the medication, lead a differentiated positioning against other market products, and facilitate positive changes in clinical practice and the patient journey that benefit the greatest number of patients and improve their quality of life.

Through in-depth knowledge and analysis of the area, decision-making on actions and investments, the development of high-impact interactions with clients, and cross-functional collaboration, this role will be key to bringing the brand to its best version, from launch preparation to the consolidation of its results and maturity.

  • Maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of the competition, including their strategy, positioning, scientific evidence, activities, messages, and presence in the key accounts within the territory under their responsibility, in order to identify opportunities and threats, adapt action plans, and maximize brand differentiation and sustainable growth.

  • Work in very close collaboration with the Medical Scientific Liaison to ensure the correct brand transition from the pre-approval period to access guarantee, building fluid internal and external communication that generates a better impact for clients and patients.

  • Work in a timely manner to identify the different stakeholders in each account or healthcare area, including decision-makers, influencers, and prescribers, at the hospital account, region, and healthcare area level, as applicable.

  • Properly map and segment stakeholders, identifying their connections, influence networks, belief profiles, and behavior regarding our brands, in order to guide the strategy and prioritize the highest-impact actions.

  • Understand and lead the implementation of the national strategic plan, adapting it to the specific needs of the territory under their responsibility together with the cross-functional team, ensuring transparency, collaboration, cross-functional leadership, and agility in execution, from the planning phase to subsequent follow-up.

  • Take on and achieve commercial objectives through the development and execution of specific account plans that prioritize high-value opportunities and reallocate resources decisively toward higher-impact activities.

  • Serve as the scientific reference for the brand in the indication, with solid knowledge of efficacy data, management, and available evidence, ensuring valuable interactions that contribute to patient benefit.

  • Ensure that the scientific evidence published in brand studies is properly reflected in clinical guidelines, leading solid conversations that drive the optimal positioning of the brand and its consolidation as the reference treatment in strategic accounts.

  • Lead the hospital introduction of products in non-priority accounts or healthcare areas, ensuring coordination with regional access teams and the involved central teams.

  • Design and implement the omnichannel plan in the territory under their responsibility, adapting the client's omnichannel journey, removing local barriers, and delivering personalized, innovative, high-impact interactions across all relevant channels.

  • Proactively adopt and use artificial intelligence tools and digital solutions approved by the company to analyze information, generate insights, optimize the planning and personalization of interactions with stakeholders, increase commercial efficiency, and strengthen data-driven decision-making, while always ensuring compliance with compliance policies and AI governance.
