The role
We are looking for a TMA B1.3 to join our team at the Albacete maintenance center.
Reporting to the Avionics Manager, the mission is to perform, inspect, and repair avionics systems and equipment on aircraft, ensuring their optimal functionality and compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards. This role involves diagnosing issues, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting the overall airworthiness and operational readiness of the aircraft.
What you'll do
- General Aircraft and Component Maintenance:
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on avionics systems and components, both in base and line maintenance settings. Inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
- Component Overhaul: Overhaul avionics components as needed. Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble components, replacing parts as necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with avionics systems using diagnostic tools. Implement solutions to resolve faults efficiently.
- Installation and Modification: Install and modify avionics systems according to specifications and regulations. Test and validate new or updated systems.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure all maintenance activities follow relevant aviation regulations and standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and is properly completed.
- Certification: Certify and approve all maintenance work according to regulations. Complete necessary certification forms.
Safety and Training:
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle hazardous materials properly.
- Health and Safety Regulations: Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Participate in required safety training.
- Continuous Training: Engage in ongoing training to stay current with avionics technology and industry practices.
Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Quality Checks: Perform quality checks on all completed work to ensure it meets standards. Address any quality issues promptly.
- Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to maintenance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Technical Support and Collaboration:
- Technical Guidance: Provide support and advice to other maintenance personnel and flight crews on avionics systems. Assist with troubleshooting and system operation.
- Team Coordination: Work with other technicians and team members to coordinate maintenance activities. Participate in team meetings and problem-solving efforts.
