Energy Project Engineer

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic, storage, or energy sector, with practical field work and site management.

• Ability to coordinate suppliers and sustain demanding technical conversations.

• Good communication with technical and non-technical interlocutors, including clients.

• Ideally, knowledge of OSH (Occupational Safety and Health), coordination of business activities, or medium/low voltage installations.

At Axpo Iberia, we drive the energy transition with self-consumption, storage, and efficiency solutions. We are looking for someone with technical and field vision to lead the execution and operation of our projects.

The position combines site management and monitoring with supplier management and asset operation and maintenance: execution control, verification of milestones and certifications, quality of work, preventive and corrective maintenance, incident resolution, and contractor approval and control.

You will act as an internal technical reference in project execution, provide support to the commercial and business teams in the validation of solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement: shorter deadlines and resolution times, greater asset availability, and adequate technical and documentary traceability.

• Direct the execution of photovoltaic self-consumption, BESS, and energy efficiency projects, ensuring deadlines, quality, safety, and cost.

• Exercise site management and monitoring: setting out, execution control, verification of milestones and certifications, management of deviations and modifications, testing, acceptance, and documentary closure of works.

• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate suppliers, installers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with agreed levels.

• Manage the operation and maintenance of facilities in service, ensuring availability, performance, safety, and quality objectives, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance with suppliers and maintenance providers.

• Perform technical monitoring of facilities in operation, identifying variations in production or behavior, anomalies, and possible incidents. As well as performing field visits and inspections to verify the status of the assets.

• Provide technical support to the commercial and business teams in the definition, sizing, and validation of solutions, in responding to technical client requirements, and in the processes of acquisition, commissioning, or incorporation of new facilities into the portfolio.

• Prepare monitoring reports and propose continuous improvements in processes and procedures.
