More than 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance. Basic computer knowledge
Advanced mechanical repair and equipment assembly.
Equipment rebuilding and alignment.
Complex mechanical diagnosis and root cause analysis.
Use of precision tools and measuring instruments.
Knowledge of lubrication, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and motors.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Knowledge and monitoring of key maintenance indicators (KPIs).
Knowledge of safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) of hazardous energies.
Work Location: This position requires full presence at our plant facilities in Llinars del Vallès.
Hiring Rate: from 30,000 - 34,000 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.
Bonus Plan: This position is not eligible to participate in the Ball annual incentive program.

As a Maintenance Specialist Technician, you play a fundamental role in reducing downtime, supporting continuous production, and enabling the high-speed operations typical of aluminum can manufacturing. This position corresponds to a senior-level technician responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through advanced fault diagnosis, precision repairs, and maintenance activities.
This role contributes to major equipment rebuilds, capital projects, and process improvements. Additionally, it brings solid mechanical expertise, collaborates across different shifts and functions, and plays a key role in training and integrating other team members through hands-on training and knowledge transfer.
