Job mission

Lead, develop and implement sustainability initiatives linked to the Human Resources area at Barceló, ensuring regulatory compliance, alignment with the corporate sustainability strategy and the integration of ESG criteria in people management.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

  • Sustainability management in HR

Design and implement sustainability policies and plans in the people area (social ESG).

Integrate sustainability criteria into HR processes: recruitment, development, compensation and culture.

Define and implement sustainability indicators linked to the talent area.

  • Equality and Diversity Plan

Lead the preparation, updating and implementation of the Equality Plan.

Ensure compliance with current regulations on equality and non-discrimination.

Promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Coordinate pay audits and gender pay gap analyses.

  • Sustainable mobility

Design and promote sustainable mobility plans for employees.

Encourage responsible practices in work-related travel.

Coordinate initiatives linked to reducing the carbon footprint in the people area.

  • Legal compliance and advisory

Provide technical-legal expertise in labor and social sustainability matters.

Ensure compliance with current regulations on equality, sustainability and ESG reporting.

Collaborate with legal and compliance areas in the interpretation and application of regulations.

  • Coordination with Corporate Sustainability

Act as a liaison between HR and the Corporate Sustainability area.

Align people initiatives with the company's overall ESG strategy.

Participate in sustainability reports (annual reports, ESG reports, etc.) by providing data from the HR area.

Prepare social sustainability reports and metrics.

Contribute to internal and external audits on ESG matters.

Requirements

Education: Degree in Law, Labor Relations, Business Administration or similar.

Postgraduate training in sustainability, ESG or equality is a plus.

Solid knowledge of the labor and sustainability regulatory framework.

Experience: Previous experience in HR with a focus on sustainability, equality or compliance.

Experience in designing and implementing equality plans and ESG policies.

Experience in a corporate or multinational environment is a plus.
