Healthtech start-up based in Donostia-San Sebastián, in a growth phase and focused on developing Artificial Intelligence solutions, is looking to hire a Financial and Human Resources Controller to strengthen its team.

What you'll do

• Supervision and management of general, analytical, and cost accounting.

• Preparation, monitoring, and control of the annual budget and its periodic forecasts, under the supervision of Management.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Analysis of budget variances and identification of their causes, with proposals for corrective measures.

• Preparation of periodic financial reports for Management and other governing bodies.

• Operational monitoring and control of cash flow and treasury, updating forecasts and reporting variances.

• Control of accounts payable and receivable, as well as monitoring of debt and liquidity.

• Control and recording of fixed assets and inventories.

• Functional coordination with external financial auditors and preparation of the necessary documentation for audits.

• Monitoring compliance with accounting and tax obligations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholdings, etc.) in coordination with the tax advisory firm.

• Operational monitoring of grants, public aid, and external financing, including reporting and economic justifications to funding bodies.

• Support in preparing economic reports for R&D projects and competitive calls.

• Relationship with financial institutions: management and monitoring of day-to-day banking operations and control of policies and active credit lines.

• Contribution to the implementation and continuous improvement of internal control procedures.

• Management and proposal of improvements for the ERP and financial management tools.
