Full Stack Developer – Inspectrail

InspectRail is a deeptech startup dedicated to developing intelligent inspection solutions for the digital transformation of railway maintenance. They design and deploy monitoring systems based on computer vision, advanced sensing, and predictive analytics algorithms that are redefining how railway infrastructure is inspected and maintained.

They are currently looking to bring on board a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the software platforms that support their monitoring systems.

What will your mission be?

You will be part of InspectRail's core software development team, participating in the design, development, and deployment of solutions that manage large volumes of real-time data and turn it into useful information for railway maintenance.

You will be part of InspectRail's core software development team, working on:

- Design, development, and management of databases, both for web applications and for real-time data ingestion.

- Development and optimization of algorithms for real-time data ingestion and processing.

- Development and deployment (CI/CD) of web applications integrated with the above points.

- Work in Linux environments.

- Active participation in R&D projects, collaborating with technology centers, universities, and companies in the sector.

- You have a degree in software engineering.

- You are proficient in Python, C++, Java, and React.

- You have experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and time-series databases (QuestDB, InfluxDB).

- You regularly use Docker and Git.

- You have experience with deployments on AWS.

- You are comfortable working in Linux environments and configuring services.

- You have a high level of English and a proactive, results-oriented attitude.

- Experience using AI tools such as Claude will be particularly valued.

- Joining a growing tech startup, with real solutions already in use and strong future growth potential.

- On-site work in Donostia–San Sebastián (Miramón Technology Park), with the possibility of some remote work days.

- Short working day on Fridays and reduced working hours in summer.

InspectRail, es una startup deeptech dedicada al desarrollo de soluciones de inspección inteligente para la transformación digital del mantenimiento ferroviario. Diseñan y despliegan sistemas de monitorización basados en visión artificial, sensorización avanzada y algoritmos de análisis predictivo que están redefiniendo cómo se inspecciona y mantiene la infraestructura ferroviaria.

Actualmente, buscan incorporar un/a Ingeniero/a Informático/a Full Stack que contribuya al desarrollo de las plataformas software que dan soporte a sus sistemas de monitorización.

¿Cuál será tu misión?

Formarás parte del núcleo de desarrollo software de InspectRail, participando en el diseño, desarrollo y despliegue de soluciones que gestionan grandes volúmenes de datos en tiempo real y los convierten en información útil para el mantenimiento ferroviario.

Serás parte del núcleo de desarrollo software de InspectRail, trabajando en:

- Diseño, desarrollo y gestión de bases de datos, tanto para aplicaciones web como para ingestión de datos en tiempo real.

- Desarrollo y optimización de algoritmos de ingesta y procesamiento de datos en tiempo real.

- Desarrollo y despliegue (CI/CD) de aplicaciones web integradas con los puntos anteriores.

- Trabajo en entornos Linux.

- Participación activa en proyectos de I+D, colaborando con centros tecnológicos, universidades y empresas del sector.

- Tienes formación en ingeniería informática.

- Dominas Python, C++, Java y React.

- Tienes experiencia con bases de datos relacionales (PostgreSQL, MySQL) y basadas en time series (questdb, influxdb).

- Utilizas Docker y Git de forma habitual.

- Has trabajado en despliegues sobre AWS.

- Te manejas con soltura en entornos Linux y configuración de servicios.

- Tienes un nivel alto de inglés y una actitud proactiva y resolutiva.

- Se valorará especialmente la experiencia en el uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial como Claude.

- Incorporación a una startup tecnológica en crecimiento, con soluciones reales ya en uso y fuerte proyección futura.

- Trabajo presencial en Donostia–San Sebastián (Parque Tecnológico de Miramón), con posibilidad de algunos días de teletrabajo.

- Jornada intensiva los viernes y reducida en verano.

- Vacaciones en Navidad, Semana Santa y Semana de Pascua.

- Entorno cercano, colaborativo y con posibilidad de crecimiento técnico y profesional
