Market Services is the unit within BBVA which is charged with providing access to market infrastructure for our clients. We currently operate out of Madrid, London and Mexico providing access to OTC Clearing and Futures and Options execution and clearing. The business has grown strongly over the last few years and consequently we are currently establishing an office in New York (subject to regulatory approval). Further evidencing our ambition, BBVA recently announced the purchase (subject to regulatory approval) of the 50% of Altura Markets in Spain that it does not currently own. Altura Markets is the leading broker for listed futures and options in Spain and Portugal.

Senior business management role reporting directly to the Global Head of Market Services, supporting the management and expansion of a global franchise with teams across four locations. Acts as a key partner to the Global Head in driving strategy, execution, governance and commercial performance.

What you'll do

  • Strategy & growth: Support the definition and execution of the global business strategy, including expansion into new products, clients, markets and geographies.
  • Business performance: Own management information, financial performance, budgets, KPIs, pipeline and resource planning, identifying opportunities and areas requiring management action.
  • Global coordination: Ensure alignment and effective execution across the four locations, establishing consistent priorities, operating models and communication.
  • Governance & controls: Coordinate the business governance framework, ensuring appropriate oversight of regulatory, operational, financial and conduct risks.
  • Senior stakeholder management: Act as a central interface with Sales, Execution, Clearing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
  • Executive support: Provide the Global Head with analysis, recommendations and decision support, representing the business in senior forums where appropriate.
  • Organisational development: Support workforce planning, organisational design, hiring priorities and development of the global team as the franchise scales.
