What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-7 years' experience in Corporate Banking/CIB, managing relationships with large corporates or multinational clients.
- Strong knowledge of GTB, particularly Cash Management, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance and Working Capital.
- Strong commercial acumen and sound judgement, with a proven ability to identify, originate and convert client opportunities.
- Excellent senior client engagement, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong accountability and collaborative leadership, with the ability to mobilise multidisciplinary teams without direct reporting lines.
- Sound understanding of credit risk, relationship profitability and pricing.
- Fluent English, C1/C2 level or equivalent.

Global Transaction Banking is the Area at BBVA Spain that provides comprehensive financial solutions to support corporate and institutional clients in managing their cash, payments, collections, liquidity, and working capital financial needs. The area focuses on optimizing treasury operations and facilitating financing and international business flows through innovative and secure transaction services.
What you'll do
- Manage and develop a portfolio of large corporates and multinational clients, building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Originate and develop GTB opportunities, increasing client penetration through relevant cross-selling and proactively positioning new BBVA and CIB capabilities.
- Define client commercial priorities with the TB Branch Manager and lead proposals, negotiations and pricing decisions.
- Mobilise Product Specialists and GTB Advisory to support structuring, execution and value-added client dialogue.
- Take responsibility for the local banking relationship with Spanish subsidiaries of multinational groups where no dedicated local banker is assigned.
- Coordinate with the Global Banker on global accounts and channel cross-border opportunities arising from the Spanish relationship.
- Manage the relationship end-to-end, including credit proposals, renewals, profitability, pricing reviews, implementation, material service issues and portfolio monitoring.
- Coordinate effectively across Product, GTB Advisory, Legal CIB, Risk and Middle Office, promoting collaboration, shared success and recognition.
