Senior Mechanical Designer – CATIA V5

• Higher Level Vocational Training or University Degree in Mechanical Design, Machining, or similar.
• Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in mechanical design, preferably in the aeronautical sector.
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting modules).
• Deep knowledge of aeronautical technical regulations and design standards.
• Experience in the design of tooling and metal structures.
• Understanding of machining and additive manufacturing processes.
• Level of English or French.
• Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to expand one of our teams in Seville.

• Design and development of tooling and structures in the aeronautical sector, using CATIA V5 as the primary tool.
• Creation and modification of 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable technical and safety regulations.
• Active participation in the design life cycle, from conceptualization to validation and commissioning.
• Analysis and optimization of designs for machining and manufacturing processes.
• Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (manufacturing, quality, assembly) to guarantee the viability and efficiency of designs.
• Preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and design reports.
• Technical support to production and resolution of incidents related to mechanical design.
• Evaluation and selection of suitable materials, considering mechanical properties and application requirements.
• Carrying out feasibility studies and risk analyses associated with the design.
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of design processes and work methodologies.
