The role

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join an end client, a leading company dedicated to the design and manufacture of industrial printing machinery. You will join their Design Department, at the facilities in Martorelles (Barcelona).

What you'll do

Mechanical design of rotary printing machines (offset, flexography, and finishing equipment) in Solid Edge and/or SolidWorks.
3D modeling of mechanical assemblies with machined and sheet metal parts, oriented towards mass production.
Preparation of 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensioning and GD&T tolerances, with AutoCAD support when necessary.
Preparation of manufacturing orders and structuring of Bills of Materials (BOM).
Management of technical documentation and product lifecycle in PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter).
Collaboration with the sales, purchasing, and manufacturing departments to ensure the technical and productive viability of the designs.
Preparation of operating and spare parts manuals for the machinery.
