We are looking for a Professional specialized in protection and control of medium and high voltage electrical systems to expand one of our teams in Gijón.

What you'll do

Performing testing, parameterization, and commissioning of protection relays using OMICRON equipment and tools from industry-leading manufacturers.
Execution of primary and secondary testing.
Validation of protection functions.
Verification of measurement circuits, trip logic, interlocks, and communication systems associated with SCADA and IEC 61850.
Participation in commissioning activities, FAT, SAT, and energization of substations, industrial plants, and transformation centers.
Guaranteeing the correct operation of protection systems.
Diagnosing incidents, analyzing oscillographies, and performing coordination and selectivity studies.
Updating configurations and firmware.
Preparing technical documentation and test reports.
Working in high-demand critical environments, coordinating with engineering, operation, and maintenance teams.
Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in electrical installations of up to 400 kV.
