We are looking for a Process Technician to join an important Tier 1 in the automotive sector.
Provide technical support during the industrialization and launch of new welding lines and robotic cells, ensuring the correct setup of processes, compliance with project timings, and production stability from the validation phases through to serial production startup.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support on-site during the commissioning of new installations and robotic welding cells.
- Participate in process validation activities, try-outs, pre-series, and Run@Rate.
- Supervise and coordinate the setup and optimization activities of robots and welding equipment together with suppliers and integrators.
- Detect, analyze, and report incidents or process deviations during commissioning.
- Manage and follow up on open points alongside the various departments involved.
- Coordinate technical actions to guarantee compliance with project milestones.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Project teams.
- Verify the correct implementation and standardization of production processes.
- Follow up on industrial tests and customer approvals.
- Verify the correct operation of robots, tooling, peripheral equipment, and automated systems associated with the welding process.
- Monitor timings, action plans, and continuous improvement activities during industrialization.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation associated with PPAP and validation processes.
- Act as a liaison between the plant and the project management team to ensure fluid and effective communication.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of welding processes.
