What we're looking for

·      PhD in life-sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline).

·      Strong expertise in formulation technologies and nanotechnology-based drug delivery platforms, with experience in the delivery of biomolecules such as peptides, proteins, RNA, antibodies, or other biologics.

·      Proficiency in relevant analytical techniques, such as HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, and ELISA.

·      Demonstrated scientific track record, including publications, patents, and conference presentations.

·      Strong scientific, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with self-motivation, proactivity, adaptability, and a positive attitude, fostering a respectful and supportive working environment based on mutual trust.

·      Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Spanish.

·      Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

·      Background in the oncology and/or inflammation field.

Spun off from the laboratory of Professor María José Alonso at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), we leverage our proprietary MPN Technology® platform to advance transformative therapies for cancer and other serious diseases with high unmet medical need.

We are looking for a Research Scientist (PhD) in Nanomedicine to join our team and contribute to the development and advancement of innovative nanomedicine platforms for the delivery of biomolecules.

What you'll do

·      Plan and perform R&D activities spanning pre-formulation, formulation, characterization, analytical testing, and scale-up of nanotechnology-based biologics.

·      Contribute to the planning and interpretation of preclinical studies, including relevant in vitro and in vivo evaluations, and integrate findings to support R&D programs.

·      Organize and supervise technical activities, coordinating day-to-day experimental work and supporting the timely execution of R&D projects.

·      Analyze and interpret experimental data, maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate traceability of activities and results, and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

·      Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications and patents.

·      Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, fostering effective scientific communication and knowledge sharing.
