What you'll do

Main functions

  • Drafting airport infrastructure projects in basic, constructive, and detailed design phases.

  • Designing and sizing airside infrastructure: runways, taxiways, aprons, safety margins, and airport pavements.

  • Developing landside projects: terminals, road access, parking areas, passenger flows, and operational areas.

  • Preparing technical reports, calculation annexes, specifications, measurements, and budgets.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Airports major) or an Official Master's in Aeronautical Engineering. Being a member of the COIAE (Official College of Aeronautical Engineers) is valued for signing official projects.

  • Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years in technical consulting, design engineering, or airport construction management. Demonstrable experience in projects within Spanish territory.

  • Strict compliance with AENA regulations (Technical Instructions for Air Navigation and Airports), EASA and ICAO (Annex 14). Project Areas:

    • Airside:Airside: Design of airfields, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons and calculation of flexible/rigid pavements.

    • Landside:Landside: Functional planning of terminals, passenger flows, BHS systems (baggage handling) and access routes.

    • Systems and Radio Navigation Aids: Knowledge of visual aids (runway lighting) and navigation/communication systems.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM environments (Revit) applied to infrastructure.

  • Simulation: Experience with airspace or terminal capacity simulation tools (such as AirTOP or AviPLAN) is valued.

  • Languages: Native Spanish, fluent technical English (minimum B2/C1) for handling international manuals.

  • Skills: Subcontractor management, ability to interface with aeronautical authorities, and resolution of complex on-site issues.
