Airport Aeronautical Engineer

We are looking for an Airport Aeronautical Engineer

Main functions

• Drafting airport infrastructure projects in basic, constructive, and detailed design phases.

• Designing and sizing airside infrastructure: runways, taxiways, aprons, safety margins, and airport pavements.

• Developing landside projects: terminals, road access, parking areas, passenger flows, and operational areas.

• Preparing technical reports, calculation annexes, specifications, measurements, and budgets.

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Airports major) or an Official Master's in Aeronautical Engineering. Being a member of the COIAE (Official College of Aeronautical Engineers) is valued for signing official projects.

• Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years in technical consulting, design engineering, or airport construction management. Demonstrable experience in projects within Spanish territory.

• Strict compliance with AENA regulations (Technical Instructions for Air Navigation and Airports), EASA and ICAO (Annex 14). Project Areas:

  • Airside:Airside: Design of airfields, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons and calculation of flexible/rigid pavements.

  • Landside:Landside: Functional planning of terminals, passenger flows, BHS systems (baggage handling) and access routes.

  • Systems and Radio Navigation Aids: Knowledge of visual aids (runway lighting) and navigation/communication systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM environments (Revit) applied to infrastructure.

• Simulation: Experience with airspace or terminal capacity simulation tools (such as AirTOP or AviPLAN) is valued.

• Languages: Native Spanish, fluent technical English (minimum B2/C1) for handling international manuals.

• Skills: Subcontractor management, ability to interface with aeronautical authorities, and resolution of complex on-site issues.

Buscamos un Ingeniero/a Aeronáutico de Aeropuertos

Funciones principales

• Redactar proyectos de infraestructura aeroportuaria en fase de diseño básico, constructivo y de detalle.

• Diseñar y dimensionar infraestructuras del lado aire (airside): pistas, calles de rodaje, plataformas, márgenes de seguridad y pavimentos aeroportuarios.

• Desarrollar proyectos del lado tierra (landside): terminales, accesos viarios, aparcamientos, flujos de pasajeros y áreas operativas.

• Elaborar memorias técnicas, anexos de cálculo, especificaciones, mediciones y presupuestos.

• Grado en Ingeniería Aeroespacial (mención Aeropuertos) o Máster Oficial en Ingeniería Aeronáutica. Valorable estar colegiado en el COIAE para la firma de proyectos oficiales.

• Experiencia Mínima: 3 a 5 años en consultoría técnica, ingeniería de diseño o dirección de obra aeroportuaria. Experiencia demostrable en proyectos dentro del territorio español.

• Dominio estricto de las regulaciones de AENA (Instrucciones Técnicas de Navegación Aérea y Aeropuertos), EASA y OACI (Anexo 14). Áreas de Proyecto:

  • Lado Aire (Airside): Diseño de campos de vuelo, pistas de rodadura, plataformas de estacionamiento y cálculo de firmes flexibles/rígidos.

  • Lado Tierra (Landside): Planificación funcional de terminales, flujos de pasajeros, sistemas BHS (tratamiento de equipajes) y accesos.

  • Sistemas y Radioayudas: Conocimiento en ayudas visuales (luces de pista) y sistemas de navegación/comunicaciones.

• Manejo de AutoCAD, Civil 3D y entornos BIM (Revit) aplicados a infraestructuras.

• Simulación: Valorable el manejo de herramientas de simulación de espacio aéreo o capacidad terminal (como AirTOP o AviPLAN).

• Idiomas: Español nativo, Inglés técnico fluido (mínimo B2/C1) para el manejo de manuales internacionales.

• Habilidades: Gestión de subcontratistas, capacidad de interlocución con autoridades aeronáuticas y resolución de problemas complejos en obra.
