R&D Project and Proposal Engineer

• A degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications, with more than 5 years of experience in R&D projects within European programmes (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EDF, LIFE).

• Experience in the coordination of complex technical tasks (task or WP leadership), ensuring the delivery of results in international multidisciplinary consortia.

• Knowledge of the European innovation ecosystem, with the ability to interact effectively with academic, industrial and institutional partners.

• Experience in developing European R&D proposals, from opportunity identification and negotiation to the preparation of the description, organisation of project milestones, etc.

• Excellent command of English (professional fluency) is essential.

• Communication, negotiation and coordination skills in international environments will be valued.

We are looking for an R&D Project and Proposal Engineer with experience in European programme projects to join our team, working remotely from Spain.

• Identifying and analysing European funding opportunities (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EDF, LIFE), assessing their alignment with the organisation's capabilities and objectives.
• Coordinating the preparation of R&D proposals, leading the technical definition, planning, budget, risks, milestones and project deliverables.
• Managing relationships with national and international partners, facilitating the creation of consortia and the negotiation of responsibilities, contributions and collaboration agreements.
• Leading and supervising technical activities and work packages in European projects, ensuring the achievement of objectives, deadlines and quality of results.
• Acting as a liaison between technical teams, funding bodies and consortium partners, ensuring smooth communication and proper international coordination.
• Preparing and reviewing project technical and administrative documentation, including reports, deliverables, presentations and justifications required by European programmes.
