Requirements
What we're looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in railway interior design projects.
- Demonstrable experience in the design and integration of the following assemblies:
- Underfloor structures, floors, linings, and stairs.
- Interior paneling.
- Seats and tables.
- Luggage racks and storage elements.
- Insulation systems.
- Auxiliary devices and interior equipment.
- Air distribution, intake, and evacuation systems.
- Toilet modules.
- Water tanks and associated accessories.
- Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Experience working in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) environments.
- Experience in document and configuration management using PLM/PDM tools.
- Experience in workload estimation and planning of technical activities.
- Ability to coordinate teams and technically supervise engineering deliverables.
- Minimum English level B2.

The role
What you'll do
We are looking to hire a person for the position of Railway Interior Design and Management Lead, with a key role in the technical coordination of interior design packages for international railway projects. You will have a direct impact on the planning, supervision, and development of design solutions oriented towards comfort, functionality, and regulatory compliance of rolling stock.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead design and development activities for railway interior systems using 3D CAD tools.
- Coordinate technical teams, planning activities and managing workload distribution.
- Supervise and technically review designs developed by other team members.
- Validate 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation associated with the various interior design packages.
- Manage technical information and project documentation within PLM and PDM environments.
- Coordinate the development and integration of interior elements, ensuring compliance with functional, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
- Act as a technical interlocutor with different areas involved in the project.
- Identify technical risks and propose actions to minimize deviations in quality, deadline, and cost.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, document management, and work methodologies.
