Requirements

What we're looking for

Engineer in Telecommunications or Computer Science with more than 5 years of experience in R&D projects within European programmes (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EDF)
Extensive experience in integration and validation and testing methodology, including CI/CD environments (Git, Jenkins, etc.) as well as in deploying cloud-native architectures based on containers (e.g. K8s environments)
Knowledge of virtualised network solutions in 5G-Advanced/6G, Telco Edge Cloud and/or MEC systems.
Experience in coordinating complex technical tasks (task or WP leadership), ensuring the delivery of results in multidisciplinary international consortia. Communication, negotiation and coordination skills in international environments will be valued.
A high level of English is essential (fluent professional).

The role

We are looking for an R&D Engineer with experience in European programme projects to join the Integration and Testing part of our projects, working remotely from Spain.

What you'll do

Design, integrate and validate innovative technological solutions in European R&D projects related to 5G-Advanced, 6G, Edge Cloud and MEC.
Define, execute and automate test, validation and integration plans to ensure the quality and proper operation of the solutions developed.
Manage and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments using tools such as Git, Jenkins and DevOps technologies.
Deploy, configure and operate cloud-native platforms based on containers and Kubernetes (K8s) for demonstration and testing environments.
Coordinate technical activities with international partners, leading tasks or work packages and ensuring compliance with project milestones and deliverables.
Prepare technical documentation, participate in consortium meetings and collaborate in defining new research and innovation lines, including AI/ML-based network automation solutions.
