What we're looking for

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aeronautical structure calculation and analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of structural mechanics and strength of materials.
  • Experience in Finite Element Modeling (FEM).
  • Proficiency in Nastran for structural analysis.
  • Experience using HyperMesh for FEM model generation and management.
  • Experience in structural fatigue analysis.
  • Ability to interpret aeronautical design and certification requirements.
  • Minimum English level B2.
  • Analytical capacity and orientation toward solving complex problems.

The role

We are looking to hire an Aerostructures Calculation Engineer to participate in aeronautical programs of high technological complexity. The selected person will be responsible for performing advanced structural analyses, strength evaluations, and fatigue studies on aeronautical structures, contributing to the development and certification of civil and military aircraft.

You will work in close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and certification teams, participating in all phases of the structural development of aeronautical components and systems.

What you'll do

  • Perform structural calculations of aircraft components and aerostructures.
  • Develop finite element models for the analysis of aeronautical structures.
  • Execute static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses.
  • Evaluate the structural strength of primary and secondary components.
  • Analyze simulation results and prepare design recommendations.
  • Develop and validate FEM models using specialized tools.
  • Collaborate with design teams to optimize structural solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, calculation reports, and certification dossiers.
  • Participate in technical reviews and structural validation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
