Senior Data Scientist - AI & Optimization (Retail)

- Have more than 7 years of relevant experience, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Possess a university degree in a quantitative field (Bachelor's/Master's) or equivalent practical experience.
Key technical skills:
- Mastery of Python and extensive knowledge of mathematical optimization and machine learning (ML) methodologies, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and forecasting.
- Understanding when different analytical and AI approaches are—and are not—the right solution.
- Translating complex business challenges into well-defined analytical and technical problems.
- Maintaining high coding standards and a strong focus on technical excellence, developing robust, reliable, and easy-to-maintain solutions.
- Problem-solving capability based on first principles and adaptability.
- Breaking down unknown problems to their fundamentals instead of relying on predefined templates.
- Feeling comfortable with ambiguous and changing requirements, as well as the evolving scope of projects.

• Experience with production-level machine learning (ML) and modern MLOps practices, including CI/CD, MLflow,
• Infrastructure as code or Terraform.
• Experience with generative/agentic AI.
• Experience with GCP and/or Databricks.
• Experience with spatial analysis, geospatial methods, or other use cases related to physical space.
