Requirements
What we're looking for
Join our team! At Carrefour, we are looking to hire an International Textile Pattern Making Intern to join our Headquarters in Alcobendas, within the Merchandise Business Unit.
What will your main functions be during the internship?
Technical Specifications: Determine and define the appropriate measurement chart for each product in the technical sheet prepared by the design team.
Pattern Development: Collaborate in the creation of base patterns (including each part of the garment) to streamline the process of creation, review, rectification, and final validation.
Management with International Suppliers: Communicate comments, corrections, and technical modifications regarding patterns and garment production directly to suppliers.
Academic training: Students of a Degree or Qualification in Fashion Design and Management, with specific training or specialization in Pattern Making.
Languages: Minimum B2 level of English (essential for daily communication with suppliers in Asia).
Competencies:
Knowledge in the preparation and interpretation of technical sheets and measurement charts.
Technical pattern making skill and understanding of the textile garment manufacturing process.
Preferable availability to work full-time (08:00 to 17:00 h).
