The role

Position: Specification Engineer specialized in Data Centers

We are looking to hire a Specification Engineer specialized in Data Centers (DCC) to join Carrier's national DATA CENTERS team in Spain.

Their main mission will be to develop the specification of Carrier solutions in Data Center projects, establishing relationships of trust with engineering firms, consultancies, and designers from the early stages of the project.

What you'll do

  • Identify Data Center projects in early design phases.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineering firms, consultancies, and specialists in DCC specification.
  • Ensure that Carrier solutions are specified within the project design.
  • Provide technical advice on HVAC solutions for critical infrastructures.
  • Technically present and defend Carrier solutions to engineering firms, consultancies, and clients.
  • Participate in the definition of the project's HVAC architecture.
  • Perform follow-up from the design and specification phase through to the contract award.
  • Work jointly with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, and other internal teams.
  • Identify trends, new projects, and opportunities within the Data Center market.
  • Represent Carrier in technical meetings, workshops, and specialized events.
