At Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, we are looking for a 2nd HEAD CHEF to join the kitchen team at one of our hotels in central BARCELONA
The main tasks to be carried out are the following:
- Carry out the duties of head chef in the chef's absence
- Coordinate the station or section of the kitchen under their responsibility.
- Provide support, follow-up and implementation of the Head Chef's requirements.
- Prepare dishes and supervise their finishing and presentation.
- Supervise the cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen area assigned to their station and ensure the perfect condition of tools and facilities.
- Coordinate the work of the staff under their charge, distributing tasks according to the volume of work.
- Assist in the training of the staff under their charge.
- Participate in the control of supplies, preservation and storage of goods.
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional studies in cooking.
- Experience in fine dining restaurants.
- Proactivity, dynamism, leadership.
- Availability to reside abroad.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, initiative, results orientation.
