Platform Engineer (DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer)

As Platform Engineer at our organization, you will play a pivotal role in both our internal and external-facing operations. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and managing our internal platforms, automating processes, and collaborating with various teams to streamline operations.

You will also design, integrate, and manage our cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. A key aspect of your role will be to integrate security practices into our DevOps processes, embodying the principles of DevSecOps, and ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.

You will play an important role in building an infrastructure that supports our software development cycle from coding and testing to deployment and monitoring.

This role requires a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, cloud technologies, a strong focus on customer service, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality, reliable systems.

• Continuously improve development, deployment, and operational processes to increase team efficiency and accelerate value creation.
• Build and maintain a self-service platform for developer teams to streamline their work and foster independence. Empower them to easily adopt modern DevOps methodologies and our internal development platform.
• Design, implement, and manage our cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Work closely with our clients and partners to understand their needs and provide tailored cloud solutions.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to ensure our practices are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to understand their needs and plan for future requirements.
• Provision scalable and fail-safe container-based platforms using technologies like Kubernetes on Amazon Web Services.

Onboarding
Your onboarding process will generally take place in person at our offices and will last approximately six months. During this time, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of our company, our products, and your team. This allows us to create the best conditions for you to get off to a successful start at CIB. For this reason, we do not offer a remote onboarding process.
