The role

Description

At CIRCET, a leading company in telecommunications and energy, we are looking for a Construction Laborer for the Biscay area.

You will be responsible for providing operational support on-site in manual excavation of trenches, backfilling, and assisting with fiber optic cable laying, with a commitment to training in the use of O.C. machinery and telecommunications techniques.

Duties

Support in Trench Excavation: Perform manual refining of the bottom and walls of new trenches, removing soil in areas inaccessible to machinery, clearing debris, and cleaning the route.
Support in Duct Laying and Trench Bedding: Spread the sand/concrete bed in the trench, assist in placing conduits, backfill with lean concrete, and lay telecommunications warning tape.
Cable Pulling Assistant: Collaborate in the manual pulling of fiber optic cables and micro-ducts, guiding and feeding the conduits.
Safety, Signage, and Training: Assemble signage and fencing around the trench for pedestrian safety, assist with material loading/unloading, and attend O.C. machinery training sessions.

Requirements

Basic Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) Training for Construction/Networks (minimum 8h or 20h) or willingness to complete it immediately.
Valid Class B driver's license.

Will be valued

Previous experience as a laborer in manual trench digging, cable laying, or landscaping.
Prior ORP training (Confined Spaces, Earthworks).
Construction Professional Card (TPC).
