About Cochrane
Cochrane is an international, UK-registered charitable organization dedicated to evidence-based health research. It produces systematic reviews that examine the evidence behind questions affecting people's health, with the stated aim of 'empowering everyone to make better decisions'. Its work is highly influential: according to the organization, two thirds of new World Health Organization guidelines in the past 5 years cite at least one Cochrane review, and scientists, policymakers and decision-makers rely on its evidence. The organization operates through a global network of experts, members of the public and volunteer contributors rather than as a conventional company.
For international professionals, Cochrane is a strongly multilingual organization: it translates its evidence into more than 20 languages, and its website is available in Spanish among many other languages, with more than 61,000 translations of plain language summaries published across 20 languages as of June 2026. The available evidence does not confirm a specific Spanish office location, but current openings tagged for Spain include editorial and operations roles such as Editorial Assistant, Managing Editor (maternity cover), Publishing Operations Lead and Commercial Sales Lead. Cochrane lists its vacancies on a Deel-hosted careers page (jobs.deel.com/Cochrane).
