We are looking to add a CIVIL AND RAILWAY WORKS MANAGER to the team.

What you'll do

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

You will take on the contract management for a key infrastructure project that combines heavy civil works and railway superstructure across the provinces of Córdoba and Jaén.

  • Lead technical and financial planning: You will oversee compliance with the construction schedule, controlling costs, budgets, deviations, and managing the project's monthly certifications.
  • Coordinate teams and subcontractors: You will direct both in-house teams and subcontractor companies for the various work fronts (demolitions, structures, track and catenary).
  • Operationally supervise the civil and railway works: You will monitor on-site the works involving widening of overpasses, reinforcing steel bridges, lowering profiles and track rehabilitation.
  • Manage the institutional and contractual relationship: You will act as the main contact for the contractor with the client's Works Supervision and the project's technical support teams.
  • Ensure Safety and Prevention compliance: You will guarantee strict compliance with occupational risk prevention (PRL) regulations in environments affecting rail traffic.

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (Roads, Channels and Ports) or a degree in Civil Engineering (recognized in Spain)
  • Essential: minimum of 5 years as a Works Manager, ideally having managed projects that combine civil works (structures, bridges, grade separations) and railway infrastructure or superstructure.
  • Geographic mobility: Residency or availability to travel daily along the assigned railway stretch between Córdoba and Jaén. After this project, continuity is available on projects located in Madrid or Andalusia, depending on preference.
  • Leadership, results orientation, complex problem-solving and strong negotiation skills.
