Site Manager - Linear Civil Works and Paving

Seville | €8M Project | 24 months execution | Permanent contract

At ConfiARTE, a consultancy specializing in the selection of technical and management talent, we are selecting a Civil Works Site Manager to join one of the leading national construction companies, within its structure in Seville.

The selected person will initially assume the management of an important linear paving project, with an approximate budget of 8 million euros and a planned execution period of 24 months.

This is not a hiring exclusively linked to this specific project. We are looking for a professional with a vocation for continuity who, once the project is completed, can integrate stably into the delegation's structure and continue developing new works in Seville and its area of influence.

Your mission

You will be responsible for the integral management of the site, leading its execution from a technical, economic, and organizational standpoint, guaranteeing the fulfillment of deadline, cost, quality, production, and safety objectives.

Reporting to the Delegation structure, you will have autonomy in the daily management of the project and will coordinate the different internal resources, subcontractors, and involved suppliers.

Main responsibilities

• Overall management and direction of the works.
• Planning of works and definition of the different execution phases.
• Organization and monitoring of production.
• Economic and budgetary control of the project.
• Monitoring of costs, certifications, and deviations.
• Preparation and updating of the site schedule.
• Management and coordination of internal and subcontracted teams.
• Hiring, negotiation, and monitoring of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Technical supervision of paving and linear works.
• Control of yields, measurements, and executed units.
• Management of monthly certifications.
• Documentary and contractual control of the site.
• Coordination with Project Management (Dirección Facultativa), Ownership, and different involved agencies.
• Monitoring of established quality standards.
• Coordination with Occupational Risk Prevention teams.
• Early identification of possible technical, economic, or deadline deviations and proposal of corrective measures.
• Periodic reporting to the Delegation Management.

Profile we are looking for

We are looking for a site professional with real field experience, leadership capacity, and technical criteria, accustomed to managing civil works projects with responsibility over production and economic results.

We will particularly value:

• Training in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Caminos, Canales y Puertos), Public Works Technical Engineering or equivalent degrees.
• Experience as a Site Manager in civil works projects.
• Specific experience in paving, pavements, and linear works.
• Knowledge of work site planning and organization.
• Experience in economic site control, costs, production, and certifications.
• Ability to manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Experience in communicating with Project Management and clients.
• Regular use of site management and planning tools.
• Leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Results orientation and deadline compliance.

Previous experience in projects related to the following will be especially interesting:
