Store Manager

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in commerce and store management.
• Experience as a manager, supervisor, or assistant store manager, with real coordination functions.

• Availability to work in rotating morning, afternoon, and split shifts, from Monday to Saturday.

• Experience in footwear, fashion, or accessories will be especially valued.
• Previous experience in shopping centers will be valued.

ConfiARTE Selección is looking to hire a Store Manager for an important company in the retail sector, located in Ondara (Alicante).

We are looking for a person with experience in store management, team coordination, and active selling, capable of assuming the daily management of the establishment and contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives.

What will your mission be?

You will be responsible for ensuring the correct functioning of the store, coordinating the team, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service.

You will combine management and leadership functions with active participation in sales and daily operational tasks.

Main duties

Team management and coordination

• Organization and distribution of tasks.
• Planning of shifts, breaks, and store coverage.
• Monitoring team performance.
• Onboarding and training of new hires.
• Management and communication of personnel-related incidents.

Sales and customer service

• Active selling and personalized advice.
• Customer service and detection of their needs.
• Supervision of the service provided by the team.
• Driving upselling and promotions.
• Management of exchanges, returns, and claims.

Cash management

• Carrying out and supervising cash register operations.
• Cash counts and closings.
• Control of cash and card payments.
• Detection and communication of possible discrepancies.
• Management of bank deposits following established procedures.

Merchandise and stock management

• Supervision of merchandise reception.
• Control of references, colors, and sizes.
• Warehouse organization and replenishment.
• Inventory monitoring.
• Management of reservations and transfers.
• Detection and communication of shortages or incidents.

Store image and operation

• Supervision of order and cleanliness.
• Control of product display, prices, and signage.
• Coordination of openings and closings.
• Supervision of the correct functioning of the facilities.
• Compliance with safety and prevention procedures.

Commercial monitoring

• Monitoring of sales and objectives.
• Analysis of commercial indicators such as conversion, average ticket, and units per sale.
• Identification of improvement opportunities.
• Proposal of commercial actions.
• Coordination with different support areas.

What profile are we looking for?

We are looking for a person who is committed, organized, and customer-oriented, with the ability to lead a team through closeness and, at the same time, participate actively in sales and the daily operations of the store.

The ability to combine leadership, commercial orientation, and operational rigor, maintaining control over the team, cash, stock, and objectives, will be especially important.
