Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience in industrial piping, welding, and on-site assembly.
Practical experience in welding associated with piping (TIG and/or stick) (being or having been certified is highly valued).
Ability to fluently read isometric drawings and industrial/welding symbology.
Precision in alignments, beveling, and fine assembly.
Knowledge of materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, PPR, among others.
Experience in safe work in industrial environments (PRL Metal 20h/60h is highly valued).
Coordination with welders, boilermakers, and other workshop teams.
Good teamwork skills, autonomy, and commitment to industrial safety.

The role

PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITY: INDUSTRIAL PIPE ASSEMBLY AND FABRICATION (WITH WELDING)

At ConfiARTE, we are looking to hire an Industrial Pipefitter with welding knowledge for a stable project within a consolidated and leading company in the metallurgical and industrial sector.

The selected person will join a highly qualified technical team, participating in the fabrication, assembly, welding, and maintenance of industrial piping systems, ensuring the correct operation of the facilities and compliance with established quality and safety standards.

We are looking for committed professionals, with the ability to interpret isometric drawings, skill in welding processes, and experience in the preparation, assembly, and installation of piping in industrial environments. We especially value attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to different technical projects.

What you'll do

1. Preparation, fabrication, and welding of pipes

Interpret drawings, isometrics, and P&ID diagrams.
Measure, cut, and shape pipes (bending, beveling, threading).
Prepare pipe sections, tack welding, fine alignment, and welding execution/assistance (TIG, stick/SMAW, or MIG/MAG) according to project and material requirements.

2. Assembly of piping systems

Install piping on-site: alignment, leveling, and fixing of supports.
Assembly of valves, flanges, fittings, and gaskets.
Adjustment and assembly of prefabricated pipes for fitment into the actual installation.

3. Repair and maintenance

Leak detection, cutting, and replacement through welding/assembly of deteriorated sections or equipment (pumps, valves, manifolds).
Adjustments and modifications to existing installations.

4. Testing and verification

Perform or assist in hydraulic or pneumatic tests.
Check tightness, pressure, alignment, and visual quality of welded and assembled joints.
