What will make this opportunity worthwhile?

  • Leadership with real impact. You will be at the forefront of approximately 30 people. Your way of organizing, listening, and supporting will make the difference in results and the work environment.
  • Close to the people and the operation. You will not manage the warehouse solely from an office. You will be present in the day-to-day, understand the team's needs, and act when necessary.
  • Autonomy to make decisions. You will organize resources, establish priorities, and propose improvements to facilitate work and increase efficiency.
  • A job where every improvement counts. You will be able to drive changes in productivity, organization, safety, and service quality, seeing the results of your decisions.
  • A direct relationship with our partners. You will get to know their needs and contribute to ensuring the cooperative's supermarkets receive a quality service.
  • A stable project with a future. You will join a consolidated cooperative where you can continue to develop in logistics management and team leadership.

The role

Do you like leading teams from the ground up, making decisions, and ensuring a warehouse operates better every single day? At Covirán, you will manage a food logistics platform, support a team of approximately 30 people, and contribute to providing a quality service to our partners. You will be part of a cooperative with a long-standing history, in a stable project where you will have the autonomy to organize operations, drive improvements, and develop close leadership.

Your mission: to ensure that people and operations work together as a team

An efficient warehouse needs good processes, but also people capable of coordinating, anticipating problems, and generating trust. Your mission will be to ensure the platform operates safely and efficiently, creating an environment where the team can give their best and our partners receive great service.

What you'll do

1. You will lead the daily warehouse operations, coordinating reception, storage, order picking, and dispatch. You will plan resources and use indicators to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.

2. You will support and coordinate a team of approximately 30 people, organizing priorities, resolving difficulties, and fostering collaboration. You will be present in the warehouse and ensure safety, risk prevention, and food quality.

3. You will guarantee a quality service to our partners, attending to needs, managing incidents, and driving solutions and improvements that balance results and team well-being.

About Coviran

Coviran is a Spanish food retail cooperative based in Granada, operating one of the largest networks of neighborhood supermarkets in Spain. With over 3,000 points of sale, primarily under the Coviran brand, the company focuses on proximity retail, offering fresh produce, groceries, and everyday essentials. It is a key player in the Spanish grocery sector, particularly in Andalusia and other regions, and is known for its cooperative model that supports local suppliers and small-format stores.

Coviran's operations in Spain are extensive, with distribution centers and logistics hubs across the country, including locations such as Atarfe, Toledo, Coslada, Vitoria, and others. The company's work culture emphasizes teamwork, operational efficiency, and local community engagement. For international professionals, Coviran offers opportunities primarily in warehouse and logistics roles, such as order preparation and forklift operation, which may be suitable for those seeking entry-level positions in the retail supply chain. While the company is deeply rooted in Spain, its cooperative structure and regional focus mean that roles are often localized, and Spanish language skills are typically essential for day-to-day operations.
