We are looking for a Maintenance Planner who will report directly to the Maintenance Director and who will ensure the correct planning and follow-up of corrective and preventive maintenance activities, organizing the necessary resources to optimize the performance of the industrial means of extraction, transport, and processing of slate, ensuring that work is carried out with the necessary quality and respect for safety as a priority.

- Develop preventive work routines and apply maintenance methods.

- Coordinate the PMA (Autonomous Maintenance Plan) with the quarry, mines, and processing plants and leverage their results.

- Manage the recording of maintenance activities and the organization of its work orders to ensure the subsequent data analysis that allows optimizing the service and management of assets.

- Ensure the quality of corrective and preventive maintenance work through follow-up and site visits where necessary.

- Ensure compliance with safety requirements in maintenance, helping to spread the culture of respect for people and safety throughout the organization.

- Promote the training and development needs of maintenance personnel.

- Provide technical opinions related to their area

- Authorize extraordinary activities and attendances

- Conduct field visits to check the condition of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

- Technical Engineer or higher-level Vocational Training with experience in similar roles, with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience.

- Desirable technological knowledge of slate production processes: quarrying, wire cutting, transport, sawing, splitting, cutting, and packaging.

- Knowledge of mining machinery and heavy vehicle maintenance

- Basic knowledge of lean, continuous improvement, and process optimization: 5S, standardization, problem-solving methodologies, Six Sigma, SMED,…

- Knowledge of industrial maintenance.

- Ability to plan, analyze, synthesize, communicate, and work autonomously.
