SECTION MANAGER Decathlon Campanar - Valencia

At Decathlon Campanar, we are looking for an energetic person, passionate about physical activity and with a vocation for leadership, to take on the integral responsibility of a sports section.

As a Section Manager, you will not be managing from behind a desk: you will be in the heart of the store, making strategic decisions about your product, energizing your team, and sharing your sporting passion with our users and athletes in Valencia.

You will autonomously lead the commercial and human project of your sport, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and the profitability of your section:

• Team leadership: You will select, train, and support the development of your team of sports salesperson/s, fostering a collaborative, motivating, and goal-oriented work environment.

• Commercial and product strategy: You will decide on the appropriate product range for the local sports community in Campanar, manage the aisles (merchandising), the implementation of new products, and commercial seasonality.

• P&L management: You will be responsible for the economic performance of your section: monitoring sales, commercial margin, stock control, turnover, and profitability.

• Omnichannel user experience: You will guarantee excellent service both in the physical store and through our digital channels and associated services (workshop, personalization, second life).

• Active athlete: You live sport with enthusiasm and know how to transmit that energy to both your team and your customers.

• Natural leadership and social skills: You have initiative, communication skills, and you enjoy motivating, guiding, and helping people grow.

• Commercial sense and business vision: Analytical capacity to interpret sales indicators, make quick operational decisions, and optimize resources.

• Training and/or experience: We value a university degree (Business Administration, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences - CAFD/INEF, Commerce, Marketing, or similar) or previous experience coordinating teams in retail/customer service.
