Responsible for supporting systems infrastructure, covering both virtualization and storage platforms, as well as the on-premise environment (physical data centers, racks, cabling, basic network electronics). The goal is to ensure the availability, performance, security, and continuity of systems, carrying out both BAU tasks and planned interventions and projects.

What you'll do

  • Operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers in data centers.
  • Management of the Hyper-V virtualization platform: creation and removal of VMs, resource configuration, event review, updates, etc.
  • Basic administration of Windows Server and Linux operating systems (mainly RHEL): patching, service review, N2 incident troubleshooting.
  • Support for backup and restoration tasks (coordination with the backup/cyber recovery platform, recovery tests, DR support).

3. Operational Procedures, Security, and Service Quality

  • Compliance with security policies and hardening and patching procedures.
  • Generation of control evidence (backups, access, physical security, inventories, etc.).
  • Strict adherence to ITIL processes for incident, change, problem, configuration, and privileged user management.
  • Collaboration in internal and external audits related to infrastructure.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Infrastructure / Systems Engineer roles or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in:
  • Administration of VMware (vSphere/ESXi) or Hyper-V environments
  • Management of Windows and Linux servers in critical environments.
