Who are we imagining you to be?

• We value experience in environments linked to public affairs and regulation, as well as knowledge of how legislation is drafted and processed, the actors who influence decision-making, and the regulatory framework applicable to different economic activity sectors.
• We value interest in and familiarity with the main European and international debates regarding strategic autonomy, sustainability, competitiveness, and economic transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory texts and synthesize their implications for Public Policy activities.
• Skill to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in transversal projects within the Regulation & Public Policy area.
• Competence to prepare technical notes, regulatory analyses, and monitoring documents.
• Very high level of English, with the ability to work and communicate with international teams.

In the Regulation & Public Policy area, we are looking for a Professional Associate with an interest in and a transversal vision of public policy, capable of analyzing its impact on the economic and business environment and contributing to the firm's strategic positioning regarding the main regulatory and public policy debates.

What is the challenge?

As a Professional Associate in the Regulation & Public Policy area, you will have the opportunity to participate in key projects that directly influence the regulatory agenda and the firm's relationship with national and international organizations.

Your mission will include:

• Systematically monitoring and following the political, institutional, and regulatory agenda at national, European, and international levels, identifying legislative initiatives relevant to the firm and its ecosystem.
• Analyzing the positioning of public institutions, regulators, and other key actors in the main public policy debates.
• Analyzing complex data, evidence, and regulatory texts to draw conclusions and propose recommendations.
• Preparing regulatory impact notes, policy briefings, context reports, presentations, and other support materials for public affairs activities and institutional monitoring, including the preparation of regulatory content for management-level committees across different areas of the firm (audit, financial services, sustainability, real estate, among others).
• Collaborating with internal teams to integrate the perspective of public affairs and regulatory risks and opportunities into the firm's transversal projects.
• Contributing to the firm's participation in institutional dialogue spaces and in exchange initiatives with public and private actors.
