The role

Are you passionate about the world of data and do you enjoy both developing data engineering solutions and transforming information into visualizations that help organizations make better decisions?

At Devoteam, we are looking to hire a BI & Data Engineer specializing in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to participate in development, integration, modeling, and data visualization projects for reference clients.

You will work with technologies from the Microsoft ecosystem, combining data engineering solutions with the development of dashboards, semantic models, and Business Intelligence solutions that allow for the transformation of data into useful information for the business.

We are looking for a profile with technical experience, autonomy, and customer orientation, who enjoys working both with data preparation and transformation as well as its exploitation and visualization.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for participating in the development and evolution of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, combining engineering, integration, and data transformation tasks with the design of analytical models, reports, and dashboards.

We are looking for a profile with approximately 3-4 years of experience in data and Business Intelligence environments, capable of working autonomously, understanding business needs, and transforming them into efficient, scalable technical solutions oriented toward decision-making.

Among your responsibilities will be:

  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and technologies from the Microsoft ecosystem.

  • Develop integration, preparation, and transformation processes for data coming from different corporate sources.

  • Work with Microsoft Fabric tools and components to facilitate the ingestion, transformation, and exploitation of information.

  • Design and maintain data models and semantic models optimized for consumption from Power BI.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions in Power BI, applying best practices in visualization and user experience.

  • Configure permissions and security mechanisms, including Row-Level Security (RLS).

  • Optimize the performance of queries, data models, reports, and update processes.

  • Apply best practices in visualization, usability, and data storytelling to facilitate data interpretation.

  • Validate the quality, consistency, and reliability of information, identifying and resolving possible incidents.

  • Collaborate with business users, data teams, and technical managers to analyze needs and propose solutions.

  • Document developments, models, processes, and implemented solutions.
