• Professional experience of 10-15 years, with at least 5 years in management positions in Quality and/or H&S.
• Experience in the ICT or technology sector will be particularly valued.
• Experience in management and transformation of areas.
• Experience in process structuring, definition of responsibilities, and improvement of operational efficiency.
• Experience working in transformation and growth environments.
• Ability to combine a strategic vision with direct involvement in operational management when necessary.

At DEKRA, we continue to grow and are looking to hire a Quality and Health & Safety (H&S) Manager (m/f/d) to lead the Quality and Health & Safety strategy and management in Spain.

The selected person will report directly to the Country Manager and will have a transversal role within the organization, collaborating with different areas to ensure the integration of quality and safety into the company's processes.

This is a position with an initial stage especially oriented towards organizing, structuring, and consolidating the area, reviewing processes, responsibilities, and ways of working. Progressively, the role will evolve towards a function of greater strategic leadership, continuous improvement, transformation, and optimization of Quality and H&S processes.

As Quality and Health & Safety (H&S) Manager (m/f/d), you will define, implement, and lead the Quality and Health & Safety policy for DEKRA Spain, ensuring compliance with international regulations, Spanish legislation, and Group standards.

Your mission will be to contribute to improving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the safety culture, combining a strategic vision with a practical orientation and close involvement in the management of the area.

• Lead the Quality Management System and its continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute the Health & Safety (H&S) strategy.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the resolution of non-conformities.
• Review and optimize current processes within the area.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and delegation of tasks.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, HR, and other areas to integrate quality and safety into processes.
• Lead and develop the Quality and H&S team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Spanish and European regulations.
• Report periodically to the Management Committee and international interlocutors.
• Drive Lean Management initiatives, incident reduction, and process optimization.
• Lead the digitalization and automation of the area's processes.
• Design and maintain the Quality Management System, including standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
• Develop the H&S strategy, including risk assessments, prevention plans, training, and indicator monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Guarantee an adequate distribution of responsibilities and the delegation of technical execution to the team's OHS professionals.
• Review and structure current processes in the area to improve efficiency.
• Identify tasks susceptible to simplification, automation, or delegation.
• Drive the digitalization of processes and progressively reduce the administrative burden.
• Evolve the area from a predominantly operational model towards a more structured, efficient, and strategic function.
• Lead and develop the Quality and H&S team.
• Define clear responsibilities and foster a culture of autonomy and continuous improvement.
• Initially support the operational management of the area to understand, organize, and stabilize processes.
• Progressively evolve towards a function of greater supervision and direction.
• Work transversally with Operations, IT, HR, and other departments.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on resulting actions.
• Report to the Management Committee and international interlocutors.
