The role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Software area to design, maintain, and evolve the infrastructure that supports our critical applications, working with Linux, Kubernetes, containers, automation, CI/CD, observability, and service reliability.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives in infrastructure, automation, observability, reliability, and resilience.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Linux Systems

Experience in production, handling systemd, users/permissions, file systems, storage, CPU/memory, networking, logs, and performance diagnosis.

Kubernetes & Containers

Production operation, deep knowledge of Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Services, ConfigMaps/Secrets, Persistent Volumes, networking, scheduling, probes, updates, and deployment strategies. Experience with Docker and container building/operation.

Networking

Mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, routing, NAT, firewalls, reverse proxies, and load balancers; ability to diagnose connectivity and performance issues.

Automation & CI/CD

Solid experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD (or equivalents).

Other

Ability to automate tasks with Bash or other scripts and to create operational runbooks.

Extensive experience administering Linux systems in production environments.

Demonstrated experience operating Kubernetes at scale.

Analytical capacity to diagnose complex problems at the system and cluster level.

Technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Orientation toward continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices
