Senior Nuclear Systems Engineers

We are looking to bring on board SENIOR NUCLEAR SYSTEMS ENGINEERS to work on different nuclear power plant projects, joining the Mechanical and Process Engineering Department at our Madrid office.

Functions

• Design, update, and review of nuclear power plant systems. 

• Specification and review of specifications for nuclear systems equipment.

• Preparation of bids.

• Proposals and evaluation of design modifications in nuclear plants.

• Analysis of compliance of systems and equipment with nuclear regulations.

• Coordination of nuclear project engineering.

Mechanical and Process Engineering

• University degree in Industrial Engineering (Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, Energy, Industrial Chemistry, or similar).  

• Knowledge of nuclear regulations. 

• At least 10 years of experience in main and auxiliary systems of PWR and BWR nuclear power plants, preparing technical specifications and developing detailed systems engineering, hydraulic calculations, flow diagrams, bid evaluation, etc. Experience with VVER-type plants will be valued. 

• Knowledge of nuclear regulations and associated design codes such as ASME or RCC-M.

• Knowledge of SMRs will be valued.

• English, minimum B2 level. 

• Availability for short trips abroad.

Mechanical and Process Engineering

• Titulación universitaria Superior en Ingeniería Industrial (Tecnologías Industriales, Mecánica, Energía, Química Industrial o similar).  

• Conocimientos de normativa nuclear. 

• Aportar mínimo 10 años de experiencia en sistemas principales y auxiliares de centrales nucleares PWR y BWR, elaborando especificaciones técnicas y desarrollando ingeniería de detalle de sistemas, cálculos hidráulicos, diagramas de flujo, evaluación de ofertas, etc. Se valorará experiencia en centrales tipo VVER. 

• Conocimiento de la regulación nuclear y de los códigos de diseño asociados ASEM o RCC-M.

• Se valorarán conocimientos en SMRs.

• Inglés, mínimo nivel B2. 

• Disponibilidad para realizar desplazamientos de corta duración al extranjero.
