Responsible for the installation and assembly of machinery and equipment, as well as recording activity and incidents to ensure proper compliance with current regulations. Likewise, they will perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Job Objective and Functions

• Preventive Maintenance:
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.
  • Evaluate the state of the equipment, performing regular inspections to identify any signs of wear or failure.
• Corrective Maintenance:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in equipment and systems.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components as necessary.
• Installation and Assembly:
  • Participate in the installation of new machinery or equipment, ensuring its correct commissioning.
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including reports of work performed, parts replaced, and time spent.
  • Report any irregularities or equipment replacement needs to the supervisor or manager.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work together with other members of the maintenance team and production staff to ensure compliance with operating times.
  • Participate in training and workshops that contribute to professional development and team improvement.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Propose improvements in maintenance processes and machinery use to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Stay up to date with new maintenance technologies and techniques.
