The role

What you'll do

The selected person will have the opportunity to support the agricultural technical team in the monitoring and management of crops, gaining practical experience in the day-to-day operations of an agricultural farm and learning the processes, standards, and good practices established by the company.

Support the daily monitoring of the status of farms and crops, identifying possible incidents and reporting them to the technical manager.
Collaborate with the Agricultural Engineer and the technical team in the execution and monitoring of established agronomic guidelines.
Provide support in the supervision of field tasks, such as irrigation, fertigation, pruning, phytosanitary treatments, and harvesting.
Accompany and provide support in the coordination of daily tasks with supervisors and work teams.
Collaborate in the identification of pests, diseases, agronomic incidents, or production deviations.
Support the collection and recording of field data, including production, yields, consumption, incidents, and quality controls.
Collaborate in the preparation and updating of field notebooks, under the supervision of the technical manager.
Provide support in verifying compliance with quality protocols, food safety, risk prevention, and good agricultural practices.
Collaborate in the supervision of the proper use of machinery, tools, and agricultural materials.
Participate in the identification and implementation of operational improvements and good agricultural practices.

Internship objective: for the student to acquire a practical and global vision of the agronomic management of a farm, complementing their academic training through direct and supervised participation in the different activities of the agricultural area.

What are the requirements for this position?

Currently studying for a Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
Intermediate level of English (B1). Other languages are valued.
Knowledge of Office 365.
A B driving license and vehicle are essential.
