What you'll do
Prepare and sell the assortment in the Fish Department, autonomously applying evisceration, filleting, and cleaning techniques for pieces and advising the customer on product, origin, and preparation, to achieve the sales and quality objectives of the counter within the Company's standards.
Attend to and advise the customer on species, seasonality, origin, and preparation methods, proposing alternatives and complementary sales, to increase the average ticket and consolidate customer loyalty within the department.
Apply hygiene, cleaning, and preservation protocols and complete traceability and temperature records, to guarantee compliance with health regulations and the HACCP self-control system.
Prepare the daily order based on sales forecasts, seasonality, and available stock, to ensure assortment coverage while avoiding shortages and surpluses.
Set up and maintain the counter display and the price and promotion signage according to the defined implementation, to reinforce the commercial attractiveness of the department and provide correct information to the customer.
Execute the tasks of evisceration, filleting, and cleaning of fresh fish pieces, seafood, and sea-based prepared products, applying trade techniques and defined sales formats, to offer a product that is homogeneous in quality and presentation throughout the entire working day.
Control the cold chain, the labeling of capture zone and fishing gear, and minimum sizes, applying FIFO rotation and processing products close to expiration, to keep the counter shrinkage within the target set for the department.
