Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Architect

• IT infrastructure knowledge, including on-premise and cloud environments, with experience in service management, distributed architectures, and hybrid models, including platform services under CloudOps and Platform Engineering models.
• Experience in environments with an infrastructure outsourcing operating model.
• Ability to define and implement cost management and optimization models in cloud and hybrid environments. Experience in designing and automating data ingestion and transformation processes from multiple sources (cloud providers, ITSM tools, monitoring platforms), ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability.
  Ability to develop executive cost dashboards aimed at decision-making, incorporating key metrics, variance analysis, and cost allocation models, aligned with FinOps principles.

Collaborate with the Domain Technical Lead to bring the domain's strategic vision to fruition, taking into account technical implications and playing a key role in the success of technology initiatives and in aligning technical aspects with business objectives.

Main duties and requirements.

• Evolving the FinOps framework within the organization.
• Defining showback/chargeback models for internal organizational units, covering cloud service costs, software licenses, and outsourced services.
• Establishing control mechanisms. Identifying optimization and rightsizing opportunities.

Platform Engineering Coordination and Operating Model Transformation

Coordination of the internal team responsible for:

• Standardizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) services and capabilities:
  • Building the IaC infrastructure product catalog, in collaboration with the Architecture team, defining standards and operations.
  • Designing at a low level the needs raised by platform consumer teams.
  • Ensuring corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the platform, overseeing the outsourcer team's backlog.
• Driving and facilitating platform model adoption by Development teams.
• Controlling and managing platform service operations.

Responsibilities of the internal PMO team

• Managing IT infrastructure demand.
• Validating, together with project teams and the various departments: technical scope, architecture, risks, etc.
• Coordinating with the infrastructure outsourcing team and all ECI areas involved in the project to ensure the correct go-live of projects/services, enforcing internal policies and governance.
• Defining and overseeing reporting and activity indicators in this process with the infrastructure outsourcer.
• Capacity Management and Lifecycle
• • Supervision and control of capacity (cloud, distributed, mainframe), in coordination with the infrastructure outsourcer.
  • Technology obsolescence governance.
• Infrastructure project management.
