Lilly's Alcobendas plant is a highly automated plant that has taken significant steps in recent years toward Manufacturing 4.0.

As part of the production engineering-process automation team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automation systems at the plant, as well as participating in the definition of new strategies that help the plant continue to progress in the technology that supports operational excellence and prepares the plant for the future by making the most of the opportunities offered by technology, following the advancement in digitalization.

• Actively listen and respond to the technological needs of our internal customers, seeking new opportunities within the plant to ensure the supply of medicines, seeking solutions that provide quality in design and operational excellence.

• Participate in the design, commissioning, and validation of automation equipment and systems that improve the safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency of operations.

• Collaborate with other company plants on initiatives for improvement, standardization, and replication of projects within the engineering area, specifically in automation.

• Provide technical support to the production and warehouse automation equipment and systems at the plant to maintain them in perfect working order and add new necessary functionalities.

• Manage projects on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with the company's quality and safety policies.

• Participate in activities to maintain the validation status of equipment and systems, in compliance with the requirements of regulations applicable to pharmaceutical plants (GMP, 21CFR11).
