What we're looking for
We provide a platform; what you contribute and the impact you drive is what matters. To make the most of it, don't wait to be told. Lean in, ask questions and take responsibility for your work and career.
You don't need to arrive as a finished Product Manager. We're looking for your potential to learn, challenge and turn incomplete information into structured recommendations. Perhaps you demonstrated this through a thesis, internship, hackathon, university project or student initiative. What matters is how you framed the problem, used evidence, collaborated with others and delivered something useful.
In addition, you have:
A recent degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, Data, Business, or a related field
Structured and analytical thinking, with curiosity to understand complex systems and ask "why?"
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Ownership, initiative and comfort working with ambiguity
Strong collaboration skills and an interest in working across engineering, customer and commercial teams
An interest in connecting technology, customer needs and business value
Motivation to learn about areas such as 5G, cloud-native telecom, 3GPP, product lifecycle and pricing
Previous Ericsson portfolio knowledge or telecom product-management experience is not required. You will have the opportunity to build this knowledge on the job while gaining global exposure, mentorship, early responsibility and end-to-end product experience.
The role
Strategic Product Manager | Early Career Program
About this opportunity:
Ericsson's Early Career Program is an 18-month journey for you who are recently graduated or have up to five years of relevant experience. Through three rotations, including one international and market exposure, you will tackle challenges that matter, work alongside people who expect you to contribute, question, and move things forward.
The Excellerate track is designed to develop future leaders who are motivated by performance, pace, and commercial impact. You'll rotate across Sales, Commercial Management, Strategy, Supply, Finance and more, working on priorities that directly influence results and learning how different parts of the business connect to create value.
This isn't a programme where you sit on the sidelines. From day one, you're hired into a role, trusted to contribute, supported to grow, and expected to make an impact. Find out more about the Early Career Program here.
Your journey within the Early Career Program will start as a Strategic Product Manager within BCSS SACN's UDM & Activation solution line.
What you'll do
Join a global Strategic Product Management community shaping Ericsson's subscriber data and activation portfolio across 2G-5G and towards 6G. Working alongside an experienced team of six, you will connect technology, customer needs and business value, helping turn insights and feedback into clear product priorities.
You will support products throughout their lifecycle, from customer insight and strategy to roadmap, release, migration and value realization. You'll work with engineering, customer and commercial teams to explore complex challenges, simplify modernization and identify opportunities to improve automation and lifecycle decisions.
As you grow, you'll take increasing ownership. You could start by leading a portfolio analysis, develop into owning an insight, roadmap or lifecycle workstream, and ultimately drive a defined initiative from problem to decision and measurable improvement.
