Our client, a sustainable and people centric international company leader in its sector based in Barcelona, is currently looking for an International Distribution Replenishment Planner (DRP Planner) to join the company and the team.
The main responsibilities and requirements of this role are:
- To ensure consolidation of distribution demand at international level.
- Requirements inventory netting and DRP process management, resolving exceptions in accordance with IBP rules.
- Distribution plan full horizon / weekly/daily release for Stock Transfer Orders / ICDs depending on the flows.
- Inventory plan volume and value projection and warehouse / logistics capacity planning.
- Reviews logistics schedule adherence and drives improvement.
- Manage demand exceptions with Demand managers/planner, logistics and Supply Planning Manager.
- Balance service level (OTIF) and inventory targets (OWC), whilst understanding cost impacts on manufacturing.
- Ensure replenishment policies are defined and maintained for all SKUs, considering, shipment restrictions, shipment calendar, etc... including inventory stocking policies, safety stock levels on ERP system.
- Inputs to inventory strategy on existing, new and phase-out products.
- Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock.
- Monitor products distributed to DCs as contact point to resolve over/under stock position.
And who you'll be?
- University Education (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Focused on results.
- Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and able to work under-pressure.
- Fluent and able to work in English. Understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviours.
- At least 3-5 years experience in Supply Planning in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail
- Experience on Supply Planning in SAP and BI.
