The role

At Eurofirms we are looking to hire waste workers for a company dedicated to recycling in Granollers. The selected individuals will carry out the following duties:

What you'll do

- Machine operation: They are responsible for the startup, monitoring, and shutdown of the press and the paper mill. This is a large machine into which paper bales are fed, the mill mixes them, and the press compacts and binds them with wire. The machine operator monitors the machine, dealing with any incidents that may arise, and, in turn, prepares the bales to be fed into the press and the mill (cutting the wires with shears).

- Machine feeding: With the help of the forklift, and knowing the paper grades, paper bales are taken from their corresponding stacks and fed into the machine.

- Quality control: They are responsible for the final step before loading the trucks. Once the bale is made, it always comes out with impurities (impurities are a type of paper different from what the bale should contain, plastics where there should be paper, etc.). The Operator performing the quality control is the one who, with the help of a knife and pliers, removes these impurities from the bale that is about to be loaded.

- Loading and unloading of trucks: With the help of the forklift, tarpaulins and containers are loaded and unloaded.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.
