Senior Functional Analyst

At Experis, we are looking to incorporate into our consulting projects department a person with experience as a Senior Functional Analyst (M/F/X). Hybrid Madrid or Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to participate in the definition, analysis, and evolution of applications, collaborating closely with the business and development teams.

The selected person will be responsible for requirement gathering, preparation of functional documentation, definition of use cases, validation of functionalities, and execution of functional tests, participating in agile environments and with multiple parallel initiatives.

Functions:
Gathering, analysis, and documentation of functional requirements.
Preparation of functional documentation: use cases, diagrams, prototypes, and specifications.
Definition and monitoring of evolutions.
Functional validation of delivered developments.
Preparation and execution of functional test plans.
Collaboration with business and development teams.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
More than 4 years of experience.
Experience in requirement gathering and functional documentation.
Knowledge of relational databases (queries).
Experience with REST services and functional API testing.
Knowledge of SOAP, XML, and XSD.
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing functional analysis functions.
Experience working with software development teams, preferably in Java.
Experience working in environments with multiple simultaneous projects or initiatives.
Experience working under agile methodologies with 2-3 week sprints.

Valuable:
Knowledge of Java.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
Knowledge of React.
Experience in environments with API-based architecture.
Experience in the banking, insurance, or financial services sectors.
Experience in functional review of integrations.

Conditions:
Hybrid model (3 days office / 2 days remote work). Madrid or Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona)

Flexible schedule with entry from 8:30 to 10:00, with one hour for lunch, and exit from 18:15 onwards. It is 8:45 hours from Monday to Thursday.

Intensive working day every Friday of the year and during summer. We have 6 hours. Flexible entry schedule from 8:45 to 10:00 and exit from 14:45 to 16:00.
