Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience with Snowflake.
Advanced SQL and analysis of execution plans and ETL
Knowledge of the architecture: warehouses, storage, cache, Time Travel, and Fail-safe.
Experience in performance tuning and cost control.
Knowledge of at least one cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Intermediate English (B1-B2).

Nice to have

Python or Bash for automation.
Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitoring and reporting tools such as Grafana, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience in data integration tools such as dbt, Airflow.

The role

At Experis, we are looking for a Data Engineer / Snowflake Administrator to join a project for the support and evolution of data platforms in a high-criticality and high-availability enterprise environment.

We are looking for a person with experience in Snowflake, SQL, and ETL environments, oriented towards performance optimization, incident management, and the continuous improvement of cloud data platforms.

What you'll do

Daily management of incidents and requests related to the Snowflake platform.
Operational monitoring of the service and reporting on the status of the platform.
Participation in migration, update, and technological evolution projects.
Analysis and optimization of SQL query performance.
Adjustment and sizing of warehouses, consumption control, and cost optimization.
Administration of users, roles, permissions, and security policies.
Configuration and maintenance of databases, schemas, stages, and resource monitors.
Management of integrations with cloud solutions and corporate tools.
Incident resolution, root cause analysis, and application of continuous improvements.

How you'll work

Modality: 100% remote.
Occasional planned interventions.
